Thai Massage incorporates compression, range of motion and stretching in a dynamic flow. It is performed on a traditional floor mat, while comfortably clothed. 

This work can range from gentle and relaxing to deep therapeutic and is customized to meet your needs. 

During a Thai massage you will be fully clothed; it's important to be comfortable and able to move freely. Modest clothing is recommended to allow for optimal stretching.

Recommended attire: 

• yoga pants
• sweat pants
• lounge/drawstrings pants
• long shorts
• tee shirt
• tank top
• long sleeve

Thai massage is great for all body types. The session works with your body to improve flexibility, range of motion and overall movement. It is different for each individual; depending on your needs some postures may be excluded, but there is always something that can help ease your body's suffering. 

There are lots of ways to assist you in safely getting down onto the mat and up again at the end of your session. Generally many clients have found it easier to get up and down after receiving this work. If it is impossible for you to get onto the floor please discuss this when booking an appointment so the right options are available to you if a session is appropriate.

You don't have to do anything except breathe. Letting go can be hard, especially when we are anticipating what's next; the beauty of Thai massage is that you get lots of movement without having to do the work. You can rest easy knowing you are in good hands.

No! Thai massage offers many different ways to work the same area. While it can easily accommodate those people who like deeper  work; it does not have to be deep to be effective. It's important to always communicate if something isn't working for you so a different approach may be taken.
